Delhi, September 17–18, 2026: The Extended Office-Bearers Meeting of the All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO) was held in Delhi on September 17 and 18, bringing together senior office-bearers and representatives from several states to discuss the prevailing international and national situation, organisational strengthening, peace initiatives, solidarity campaigns and the future programme of the organisation.

Organisational Review and Strengthening
Comrade Pallab Sengupta presented a detailed report on the organisational situation and emphasised the need to strengthen AIPSO at the national, state and district levels.
The meeting stressed that AIPSO should develop as a broad-based peace and solidarity movement by reaching students, youth, women, workers, intellectuals, artists, academics, democratic organisations and other sections of society supporting peace, national unity and international solidarity.
The meeting called for strengthening state and district committees, completing pending state conferences within the stipulated period, expanding membership and submitting updated membership records.
It also emphasised the need for regular meetings of organisational committees and sustained programmes instead of limiting activities to occasional events. Greater participation of youth and women was identified as an important organisational priority.

The meeting approved an organisational roadmap leading towards the forthcoming National Conference.
General Council Meeting
The next AIPSO General Council Meeting is proposed to be held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on December 4 and 5, 2026.
National Conference
The AIPSO National Conference is proposed to be held in Bihar during March 2027, with March 14–15 mentioned in the report. The exact dates and venue are to be finalised by the competent organisational bodies.
